So simple even a child could have some fun helping to get these ready for the oven. 5 minutes and a hearty breakfast is ready to eat. Add some jelly or fruit preserves and these are extra delicious, almost like a dessert.

There's nothing like some good energy for breakfast. If you have bagels for breakfast you'll want to avoid any other grains throughout the day.

Ingredients

  • 1 Bagel
  • 2 Tbsp Cream Cheese

Instructions

  1. Split Bagel
  2. Spread Cream Cheese to cover face of bagel
  3. Put on top rack of oven under broiler for 1-2 minutes
  4. Watch carefully as these will burn very quickly

Notes

This is a very easy high energy breakfast. I like to add jelly on top after the cream cheese has been toasted. Changing the variety of bagel also changes the flavor. This is something that shouldn't be eaten more than once a month.
